Virginia Tech Innovation Campus
Alexandria, VA
Client: Smith Group
Completion Date: Ongoing
Upon opening Virginia Tech’s first academic building for their Innovation Campus in Alexandria, their core principles quickly became sustainability, health and wellness, green and social spaces, accessibility, connectivity, flexibility, and integrated technology. They have pushed hard to assure that all those principles stay as the top priority of everyone who is on campus. The Innovation Campus will be a mixed-use development that will be composed of three buildings on almost four acres at the Northern end, along with six more buildings that will be a house office, residential, and ground level retail space. Virginia Tech has big plans in the works for their Innovation campus.
