The Suburban Hospital is a community-based hospital that has been serving Montgomery County and the surrounding area since 1943. On June 30, 2009, The Hospital became a member of John Hopkins Medicine. There are many things this hospital is known for, they are a certified stroke center, level II trauma center as well as excellence in cardiac care, orthopedics, and joint replacement surgery, neurosciences, and oncology.

The Polysonics team provided Audiovisual Technology Enhancement to the Surgery suite Central Nursing Station, and (14) Operating Rooms on the first level. On level two is the Education and Conference Center where Polysonics provided the audiovisual technology enhancement to the fixed boardroom, medium conference room, large configurable conference room, and the Devisable small conference rooms. It was Polysonics intent to develop designs that embrace current technological advancements while being designed with an open architecture for future advancements. Further these designs were developed to embrace the
IP network bringing the vast knowledge-based information highway to the user simply and effectively.
